Kailin Rickert-Kauffman, LCSW
(she/her/hers)
Kailin received her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She enjoys working with adults of all ages. Kailin specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma and empowers clients to gain a better understanding of post-traumatic stress. She guides clients to begin to reprocess past events and heal at their own pace with a trauma-informed approach tailored to individual client needs. Kailin also has extensive experience doing identity exploration and affirmation work with LGBTQIA+ identified clients. Additionally, Kailin works with clients who experience challenges related to anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, stress, inequity and discrimination, self-esteem, and relationships.

Kailin is trained in multiple evidence-based treatment models, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing among others. She believes that every client deserves an empathetic, affirming space where they can bring all their identities into the room and receive non-judgmental, strengths-based care.
