Emily Gerber, MS, LPC  (she/her/hers)

Emily takes a humanistic and holistic approach with an emphasis in empathy and authenticity in the therapeutic environment. She believes in maintaining a safe and collaborative environment where both the client and counselor can be their authentic selves. Emily works to provide a trauma-sensitive approach with all clients. She aims to provide evidence-based treatments that are the best fit for creating noticeable change. She also works with clients to understand how thoughts and feelings impact behavior.


Emily works with individuals and groups (ages 14+) on a variety of concerns including: Anxiety, panic, depression, gender dysphoria, and relationship issues. Emily is passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community and finds this work especially fulfilling. She takes an affirmative approach with LGBTQ+ folks who struggle with issues related to gender and sexuality. Some treatments she utilizes include Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
