This 75 minute circle is a space to explore and witness the universal experience of grief and loss. This is a time to be in community, to connect with yourself and one another while holding space for all that life brings: change, loss, transition, grief, and gratitude. The circle will include a short teaching, a guided meditation, journaling and reflection time, optional group sharing time, and a closing practice.
ā
Grief and loss of any kind are welcome and honored here including deaths of people or pets, the impact of trauma, job loss, health changes, pregnancy loss or infertility, collective grief, and many more.
Circle Facilitator
Shandra Bauer is a registered yoga teacher, Certified Mindful Grieving Facilitator, Somatic Coach and Group Facilitator. Shandra teaches through a trauma- informed lens with the intention of creating a space that feels accessible, safe, and is rooted in belonging, community and connection. Shandra’s personal experience of deep loss and the ongoing healing journey that has led her on informs her teaching and facilitation. She leans on her life experience, Mindful Grieving Yoga Therapy training, and Grief Ritual training to accompany others in their grief journey using meditation, yoga, ritual and connection through community.
