Lisa O'Brien, MS, LPC, SAC-IT (she/her/hers)

Lisa’s philosophy is to create a welcoming environment where clients feel supported, inspired, and hopeful as they address areas in their life in which they desire deeper insight and growth. Her approach is collaborative and fosters an interactive therapeutic process. She helps clients to identify their strengths and to develop a better understanding of patterns and behaviors that are no longer effective. Clients will have the opportunity to develop practical skills and build confidence as they create healthier ways to navigate through life.

Lisa incorporates trauma-informed care approaches.  Her clinical focus areas include anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief & loss, caregiving stressors, relationship issues, and domestic violence. Lisa strives to be culturally aware, an ally to clients who identify as LGBTQIA+, and is a sex-positive therapist.
