COVID-19 Mental Health: Supporting Children and Teens
According to the American Psychological Association, almost 80% of adults report that the COVID-19 pandemic is currently a significant source of stress in their lives. Even though vaccines are starting to roll out slowly in the U.S., we have many months before life returns to normal. And, even after normal routines resume, it is expected that many people will continue to experience anxiety, depression, and grief caused by the trauma of the COVID-19 pandemic. QUEST Counseling and Consultation Center, who has more than 20 psychotherapists on staff, has been successfully helping hundreds of clients cope with mental health issues worsened by the pandemic. In order to share their strategies with others, QUEST has produced a series of nine COVID-19 mental health videos, each focused on a particular group of people:
1. Children and Teens
2. Health Care Workers
3. LGBTQIA+
4. Partner
5. Employees
6. Friends
7. Extended Family
8. People of Color
9. Yourself
