Janice Finerty, MS, LCSW (she/her/hers)
Janice sees therapy as a collaborative journey — working alongside her clients to understand what meaningful change looks like for them and supporting the conditions in which that change can take root. Her integrated, body-centered approach draws on EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, mindfulness, and Psychodynamic Therapy to support deep and lasting healing.

Central to her work is an understanding of how the nervous system holds onto difficult experiences. Through a gentle, titrated process, Janice supports clients in moving out of activated states and into a more regulated nervous system, where real healing can take place — and where clients often find a renewed sense of empowerment and agency.

Janice works with adults and couples, with specialized experience in trauma & PTSD, depression & anxiety, bipolar disorder, grief & loss, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

Outside the therapy room, she is a 200-hour trained yoga teacher whose love of the natural world, travel, and somatic practice deeply informs her healing work.
