Travis Wright, Ed.D, LPC (he/him/his)
Dr. Travis Wright received his doctoral degree in Human Development and Psychology from Harvard University, where he also completed his studies in mental health counseling. Dr. Wright has fifteen years of experience working in school and community-based mental health settings. Currently, Dr. Wright is an Associate Professor of Counseling Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he is a nationally recognized expert on resilience and trauma, especially for children and families navigating challenging circumstances and LGBTQIA+ individuals.
Dr. Wright enjoys working with adults, children, adolescents, university students, couples, and families to better understand and cope with life challenges, including trauma, sexual identity development, divorce, grief and loss, adjustment issues, anxiety, and depression.
