Mental Health Intake Coordinator

QUEST Counseling & Consultation Center, LLC, located in Madison Wisconsin, is seeking a Mental Health Intake Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for new clients seeking mental health services. This role requires strong, professional phone communication skills, as the coordinator will spend significant time speaking with prospective clients, listening to their concerns with empathy, gathering initial intake information, and helping match individuals with the therapist who best fits their needs. The position requires someone who is comfortable communicating clearly, compassionately, and confidently on the phone while supporting individuals who may be experiencing stress or emotional challenges. The coordinator will work closely with a collaborative team of mental health professionals, including therapists, social workers, and counselors, while gaining hands-on experience in a professional clinical setting. Additional responsibilities include assisting with client intake and assessment processes, supporting treatment planning coordination, managing electronic health records, and contributing to administrative and billing-related operations. This position offers valuable exposure to many aspects of a therapy practice and provides an excellent opportunity for recent BS graduates (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Education) to develop practical experience and grow a career in the mental health field.

Application deadline is March 31, 2026. To be considered for the position, email your resume and a cover letter explaining your qualifications to: Richard.Derks@QuestMadison.com.
