
Karilin Bare, LPC, CSAC (she/her/hers)
Karilin Bare is a licensed professional counselor, clinical substance abuse counselor and certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors. She provides care to adolescents (12+) and adults. She proudly serves the LGBTQIA+ community.
Karilin is trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and has extensive training to support people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, relational stressors, survival of domestic violence and those seeking general counseling and support.
With the goal of helping individuals gain new skills through self-actualization, Karilin uses an eclectic approach to treatment. She employs a variety of theories to build a therapeutic relationship with her patients, including client-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical-behavioral therapy, trauma-based therapy, motivational interviewing and 12-step recovery.
Karilin views her practice as a collaboration with the patient always in the driver’s seat. She meets patients where they are and treats each one with respect, compassion and dignity.
